We process personal data for the operation of our website, handling your inquiries, customer support, and sending our newsletter. This privacy policy applies to our websites at centenariodesign.de and centenariodesign.com.
Our website and email communication are operated through STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR exists for the processing of personal data on behalf.
When accessing the website, technically required data is processed. This includes, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the requested page or file, the transmission status, the transmitted data volume, as well as information about the browser, operating system, and referring website.
The processing serves to provide our website, its stability and security, as well as to detect and correct errors and misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of our online offering.
According to the STRATO data processing agreement, visitor log files are stored in hosting for a maximum of seven days and other log data for a maximum of twelve months. This is distinct from the anonymized access logs provided by STRATO, which are available for download in the customer area for the last six weeks.
We use the visitor statistics provided by STRATO to understand the use of our online offering in aggregated form. STRATO states that IP addresses or hostnames in the access logs provided to customers are anonymized. Insofar as personal data is processed for the creation of evaluations, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the needs-based design and technical improvement of our online offering.
Further information: STRATO's Privacy Notices.
If you contact us via the contact form, email, phone, or other means, we process the information you provide. This includes, for example, name, email address, phone number, message content, and possibly information about your watch or desired configuration. The selection of the recipient in the contact form serves the internal assignment of your request.
We use the data to process your inquiry and for follow-up questions. For inquiries regarding a possible or existing contract, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR is the legal basis. Other inquiries are processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the proper handling of incoming requests.
Inquiry data is deleted when the request has been fully processed and no further retention is required for customer support, legal obligations, or the enforcement or defense of claims.
To manage our contacts and provide personal support, we process, in particular, contact data, correspondence, language preferences, and information on the status of an inquiry or customer relationship. Contacts can be categorized as newsletter subscribers, prospects, or customers. A newsletter subscription does not automatically classify someone as a prospect.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as the processing serves the preparation or execution of a contract. Otherwise, it is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and our legitimate interest in the orderly processing of inquiries and customer relationships. For newsletters, see also section 7.
If we set up and activate a customer area for you, we process the necessary master and access data. This includes, in particular, name, email address, contact details, and account status. Your account can be associated with your CENTENARIO and related product information, especially the WIN number. To secure and manage access, information on logins and password changes may be processed.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Insofar as data is processed to prevent unauthorized access, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and our legitimate interest in protecting customer accounts.
The data is stored for the duration of the provision of the customer account and the necessary customer support. Statutory retention obligations and necessary retention for the enforcement or defense of claims remain unaffected.
If you sign up, we use your email address to send you information about CENTENARIO, our products, news, and events. Registration is voluntary. The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Registrations are managed in our own contact management. Email dispatch is carried out via STRATO. In addition to your email address, we may process your name, language preference, and information on registration, consent, unsubscription, and dispatch. Your language preference is used for sending in the appropriate language. For individual mailings, we select the intended recipient groups from the registered contacts. Classification as a prospect or customer does not replace newsletter consent.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future, especially via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending a message to customer@centenariodesign.de. The legality of the processing up to the revocation remains unaffected.
After unsubscribing, your email address will no longer be used for newsletter dispatch. Proof of consent and its revocation may be retained to the necessary extent for documentation and for the enforcement or defense of claims on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the verifiability of permissible dispatch and compliance with your unsubscription. Data required for a customer relationship independent of the newsletter remains unaffected.
Through our website and configurators, you can obtain information and make an individual inquiry. If you use functions to save a selection, configuration data can be stored in the browser. If you submit your configuration to us, we use it to process your inquiry and create an offer. Simply creating a configuration does not trigger an order or payment.
For offer creation and order processing, we process, in particular, contact data, billing and delivery address, the agreed configuration, as well as offer, order, invoice, and payment information. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
The available payment methods, such as bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card, are specified or agreed upon in the individual offer. Payment providers are not integrated as a payment function into our website. If a payment service provider is used for the agreed payment processing, they receive the necessary data. Information about the specific provider used is provided in the respective payment process.
To fulfill statutory accounting and retention obligations, we process necessary contract and billing data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Retention is based on the statutory periods applicable to the respective documents.
Our website uses cookies and similar storage techniques such as Local Storage and Session Storage. These serve, among other things, to manage sessions, protect forms, store your language selection and privacy settings, as well as the bookmark and navigation functions you use.
Insofar as the storage or access to information on your device is absolutely necessary for a digital service expressly requested by you, this is done on the basis of § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG. Other consent-required storage or access may only occur with your consent according to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG.
For any associated processing of personal data, depending on the purpose, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b, lit. f, or, in the case of consent, lit. a GDPR applies. Legitimate interests include, in particular, the secure operation and provision of the functions used. We do not use additional analysis or advertising tracking services such as Google Analytics or Meta-Pixel on the website. The STRATO server statistics are described in section 3.
You can delete stored cookies and website data in your browser or restrict their storage. This may impair individual functions. Session-related storage ends with the respective session; permanently stored settings remain according to their technical duration or until they are changed or deleted in the browser.
Our website contains links to external offerings, particularly to our presences on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, to WhatsApp, and to the app stores. When opening such links, you leave our website or open the respective application. When using a share function, the content you select is prepared for transfer to the chosen service.
The respective provider processes the data collected when accessing their offering under their own responsibility. Processing may occur outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. Please note the privacy notices of the respective provider. If you contact us via these services, we process your message to handle your request according to section 4.
Access is granted only to persons and service providers who need the data for their respective tasks. These may include, in particular:
Disclosure occurs only on a permissible legal basis and to the necessary extent. If service providers process data on our behalf, this is done on the basis of a data processing agreement.
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose. Relevant factors include, in particular, the processing status of an inquiry, the duration of a customer relationship, an existing consent, statutory retention obligations, and the necessity for the enforcement or defense of claims. If the purpose ceases and there is no other legal basis for retention, the data will be deleted or anonymized. Additional information can be found in the respective sections of this statement.
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the following rights in particular:
Insofar as we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you can object to this processing for reasons arising from your particular situation. You can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing at any time.
You can revoke consents given at any time with effect for the future. The legality of the processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected. To exercise your rights, please contact customer@centenariodesign.de.

Your CENTENARIO Interior Timepiece is crafted from high-quality materials and manufactured with great care. For material and workmanship defects, CENTENARIO GmbH i.G. offers a voluntary manufacturer's warranty of 24 months from the purchase date noted on your CENTENARIO Clock ID Card in accordance with the following conditions.
The warranty provider is:
CENTENARIO GmbH i.G.This warranty applies to CENTENARIO wall-mounted timepieces purchased directly from us or through an authorized distributor. The geographical scope includes the member states of the European Union.
The warranty period is 24 months from the purchase date noted on your CENTENARIO Clock ID Card. The initial purchase of the timepiece as a new product is decisive.
Please keep your Clock ID Card as well as the invoice or another suitable proof of purchase carefully. These allow the assignment of your timepiece and the verification of the warranty period. If the Clock ID Card is missing, the start of the warranty can also be proven by another suitable proof of purchase.
The warranty covers material and workmanship defects that occur during the warranty period with proper use. This includes corresponding defects in:
The prerequisite is that the timepiece has been mounted, operated, and maintained according to the operating instructions and that the claimed defect is not due to one of the exclusion reasons mentioned below.
If a defect covered by this warranty occurs, we will ensure its free rectification. This is done by repairing or replacing the affected components. If rectification is not possible in this way, we will provide an equivalent replacement product.
We will cover the material, labor, and transport costs required to provide a justified warranty service. Please coordinate the shipping process with our customer service in advance.
Chargeable work not covered by the warranty will only be carried out after prior information and your consent.
This warranty does not cover damage or impairments caused by the following circumstances:
An intervention or repair by third parties does not automatically lead to the exclusion of the warranty for independent defects.
Each CENTENARIO Interior Timepiece is a handcrafted unique piece – even within our series models and limited editions. The individual processing and refinement of the materials shape the character of each timepiece.
All glasses are handcrafted or processed. This can result in slight differences in color tone, grain, structure, reflection, and finish. This also applies to natural materials, mirror surfaces, as well as handcrafted and individually refined case parts. Such material and craftsmanship-specific differences are part of the individual design.
Our glasses are individually inspected and carefully selected. Nevertheless, on glass surfaces of this size, there may occasionally be tiny point-like irregularities, inclusions, or fine surface scratches. These may be visible, especially when viewed closely or under certain lighting conditions.
Even on the case surfaces, despite careful manufacturing and quality control, there may occasionally be fine surface scratches or processing marks. Especially on polished case parts, slight polishing marks may be visible under close inspection, certain lighting conditions, or in grazing light.
All components, distances, and fits are subject to technically induced manufacturing tolerances. Minor deviations are possible, provided they do not impair the function, safety, and agreed quality of the timepiece.
The described minor peculiarities do not constitute a material or workmanship defect within the meaning of this warranty, provided they do not impair the overall impression under normal viewing, the function, and the safety of the timepiece and correspond to the agreed condition. A blanket exemption for all scratches, surface defects, or dimensional deviations is not associated with this.
Deviations from expressly agreed product characteristics, actual material or manufacturing defects, and your statutory defect rights remain unaffected.
Your CENTENARIO Interior Timepiece features electromechanical drives and movable display elements. The timepiece is designed for quiet operation, but not completely silent.
At a short distance, fine electronic or drive-related noises may be perceptible. Also, when starting and moving the balls used as display elements, slight, short-term movement or contact noises may occur.
Contaminants or residues on the dial can change the friction conditions and promote so-called stick-slip effects. In this process, short-term sticking and sliding alternate, which can cause slight starting or friction noises. Please observe the instructions for regular and proper cleaning of the dial.
Minor, design and operation-related noises do not constitute a material or workmanship defect within the meaning of this warranty, provided they do not impair the proper function and are within the scope of the agreed condition and the noise development expected during normal use.
Significantly increased, persistent, or newly occurring unusual noises and disturbances in the movement process should be checked by our customer service. Actual material or manufacturing defects and your statutory defect rights remain unaffected.
Please contact service@centenariodesign.de in the event of a suspected warranty claim.
To help us quickly assign and assess your request, please provide the following information if possible:
We will review your request and coordinate the next steps with you. Please send your timepiece only after this coordination, so that transport, packaging, and processing can be prepared.
Please use only the original packaging with all intended protective elements for returns. This was specially developed for our sensitive timepieces and protects the case, glass, and display elements during transport. Therefore, keep the packaging carefully for possible returns.
If the original packaging is no longer available or damaged, please contact our customer service before returning. Please do not send the timepiece independently in alternative packaging.
A replacement original packaging is available for €350 including statutory VAT. For justified defect claims, we will coordinate a suitable transport solution with you. Statutory claims for the assumption of necessary transport costs and the warranty services promised under section 4 remain unaffected.
Regular, material-appropriate care helps to maintain the function and appearance of your timepiece in the long term. Please refer to the operating instructions and our care and maintenance tips.
Normal care and maintenance work without a defect covered by the warranty are not part of the warranty service.
Your statutory rights in the event of defects against the seller remain unaffected by this voluntary manufacturer's warranty. Exercising these statutory rights is free of charge.
You can assert your statutory defect rights regardless of whether there is also a claim under this warranty. The above warranty conditions do not limit these rights.

Whenever possible, touch your watch only with the supplied gloves. Alternatively, clean, soft gloves or a clean microfiber cloth are suitable. This applies equally to cases, glass surfaces, and display elements. Fingerprints are particularly visible on high-gloss and reflective surfaces. Careful handling saves unnecessary cleaning.
Avoid direct contact with bare hands, especially on gold-plated surfaces. Fingerprints and hand sweat can leave stains. If contact does occur, promptly and gently remove residues with a clean, soft microfiber cloth without applying strong pressure.
Existing stains can be carefully removed with a gold cleaning cloth suitable for gold-plated surfaces if necessary. Apply only light pressure and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Avoid frequent or vigorous polishing, as this can wear away the gold plating.
Our Interior Timepieces are made from high-quality materials: display elements, frames, and cases are made of aluminum and are refined and protected by high-quality coatings such as gold, chrome, or anodizing. Depending on the model, carbon/CFK, scratch-resistant aluminosilicate glass, as well as decorative spheres and gemstones like zirconia or moissanite are also used.
To ensure your watch remains in perfect condition, please follow the instructions below as well as the model-specific user manual.
Your watch features a special cleaning mode that you can conveniently activate in the CENTENARIO Home App. After activation, the display elements automatically move to the 12:00 position.
Wait until the movement is completely finished. Then you can carefully remove the designated removable display elements according to the user manual and clean both the dial and the display elements. Whenever possible, use the supplied gloves.
Once cleaning is complete, reattach the display elements according to the user manual and deactivate the cleaning mode in the app. The display elements will then automatically move to the correct time, and normal operation will resume.
First, carefully remove loose dust with a clean, soft brush. Then gently wipe the glass surface with a clean microfiber cloth and a suitable glass cleaner to remove fingerprints and deposits.
Preferably use the included glass cleaner. Other glass cleaners should only be used if they are suitable for the respective glass surface or its coating.
Apply the cleaner to the cloth and do not spray it directly onto the watch. Avoid letting liquid get into openings, onto electrical contacts, or between components. Wipe the cleaned surface dry and residue-free afterward.
Do not use abrasives, rough sponges, or dirty cloths. Even scratch-resistant glass is not completely immune to scratches.
Anodized, gold-plated, and chrome-plated aluminum surfaces should only be gently wiped with a clean, dry, and soft microfiber cloth in everyday use.
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges, or dirty cloths and do not apply strong pressure. For gold-plated surfaces, also follow the handling and occasional stain removal instructions at the beginning of these care instructions.
The spheres and gemstones are carefully crafted and delicate. Clean them gently with a soft, dry brush or a clean, soft microfiber cloth.
Do not apply pressure to stones or their settings. Avoid vigorous rubbing, pulling, or twisting. Do not immerse the display elements in water or cleaning fluids.
Carefully remove dust and fingerprints with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. If necessary, the cloth can be slightly moistened with water. Wipe dry afterward.
Do not use abrasive agents, solvents, or polishes that are not expressly suitable for the respective surface coating.
A clean, residue-free dial supports the smooth movement of the display elements. Dust, fingerprints, or residues from cleaning agents can alter friction conditions and promote slight starting or friction noises.
So-called stick-slip effects can occur, where brief sticking and sliding alternate. Therefore, regularly clean the dial and ensure that no streaks or residues remain after cleaning.
Do not use oils, fats, or other lubricants on the dial or display elements. If unusual noises or movement disturbances persist despite proper cleaning, contact our support.
Regularly check your watch for dust and visible deposits. A gentle cleaning about once a month serves as a guideline. Depending on location, dust exposure, and usage, more frequent or less frequent cleaning may be advisable.
Remove fingerprints and other residues as soon as possible, especially on gold-plated surfaces. Avoid unnecessary or excessive polishing.
Your CENTENARIO Interior Timepiece is intended for operation in dry, clean living areas and comparable indoor spaces.
The materials and surfaces used are UV-stabilized. Nevertheless, you should avoid direct and prolonged sunlight exposure to maintain color intensity and appearance in the long term. UV stabilization does not prevent all changes due to permanent sun exposure.
Choose a location without increased risk of contamination. Workshops, grinding and production areas, as well as rooms with increased exposure to grinding dust, fine dust, or other deposits, are not suitable. Such contaminants can affect surfaces, drives, and the movement of the display elements.
The operating temperature ranges from −10 °C to +40 °C. Avoid mounting directly next to radiators, fireplaces, or other heat sources. The temperature directly at the watch can be significantly higher than the general room temperature due to sunlight or heat sources.
Outside the intended temperature range, different thermal expansions of mechanical components can lead to tensions, changes in fits, and functional disturbances. Also, avoid strong temperature fluctuations and condensation. Allow a watch brought in from a cold environment to acclimate to room temperature before operation and ensure it is dry.
Damage caused by an unsuitable location or operation outside these conditions is excluded from the voluntary manufacturer's warranty. Legal warranty rights remain unaffected.
OUR DISPLAY ELEMENTS ARE NOT TOYS!
Keep removable spheres, gemstones, and other small parts out of the reach of children, especially toddlers. There is a risk of swallowing and choking.
Do not leave removed display elements unattended during cleaning. Store them safely and reattach them according to the user manual afterward.
Choose the mounting height so that children cannot reach the watch and its removable parts. The display elements must not be used for playing.
Check the electrical contacts on the watch and wall mount when you remove the watch anyway, for example, for a glass change or cleaning. An additional regular removal for contact inspection is not required.
An inspection is also advisable if the watch remains without power supply or if it is repeatedly interrupted.
Disconnect the watch completely from the power supply before any inspection or cleaning by unplugging the power adapter from the socket. Then carefully remove the watch from the wall mount according to the user manual.
Check the accessible contacts on the watch and wall mount for dust, dirt, discoloration, corrosion, or damage.
Clean the contacts only if visibly dirty dry and carefully with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth or a soft brush. Do not use liquids, glass cleaners, contact sprays, abrasives, or metallic tools. Do not bend the contacts and do not apply strong pressure to the spring-loaded contact pins.
Do not put the watch back into operation in case of corrosion or damaged contacts. Do not attempt to sand or repair the contacts yourself. Contact support@centenariodesign.de in case of such issues or persistent functional disturbances.
Only place the watch back on the wall mount when the contacts are clean, dry, and undamaged. Restore the power supply only after the watch is correctly inserted.
Do not open the case independently and do not make any interventions on drives, electronics, or electrical contacts. Work on these components should only be carried out by CENTENARIO or appropriately authorized professionals.
If you have questions about cleaning, care, operation, or function of your watch, please contact:
For warranty and repair cases, you can reach our service at:
Your CENTENARIO Interior Timepiece is a precision object for time display and room design. Use the watch exclusively according to the user manual and under the specified operating conditions.
Particularly to be avoided are:
Removing and reinserting designated components for cleaning or glass replacement is, of course, permissible when performed according to the user manual.
Damage caused by improper use or unauthorized modifications is excluded from the voluntary manufacturer's warranty. Your legal warranty rights remain unaffected.
The wall and the fastening materials used must be suitable for the weight of your respective watch. Use only the designated CENTENARIO wall mount and screws and dowels suitable for the wall substrate.
If unsure about the wall's load-bearing capacity or the fastening, have the installation carried out by a professional. After each placement, check that the watch is fully and securely seated in the wall mount according to the installation instructions before letting go.
Never lift or carry the watch by the display elements, the spinner, or other decorative components. Hold the watch only at the points specified in the user manual.
Perform removal, placement, and glass replacement according to the user manual, with a second person if necessary. Place removed components on a clean, soft, and stable surface. Avoid pressure on glass surfaces, edges, and fastenings.
Do not continue to operate the watch if the glass is damaged, the wall mount is loosened, wires are damaged, or unusual heat development occurs. Disconnect the power supply if it is safe to do so and contact support@centenariodesign.de.
Damaged glass surfaces can cause injuries. Do not attempt to repair cracks, chips, or loosened components yourself.
Regular, material-appropriate care helps to maintain the function and appearance of your Interior Timepiece in the long term. Always also observe the model-specific information in the user manual.

Do not open the case independently. Interventions in mechanics, drives, or electronics may only be carried out by CENTENARIO or appropriately authorized professionals. The replacement of components expressly intended for this by the customer remains possible according to the user manual.
If necessary, we will check the availability of suitable original spare parts and compatible components for your watch.
Depending on the model, features, and technical compatibility, other display elements or dials, as well as further upgrades, may be possible. Not every option is retrofittable for every version.
Let us know your wishes along with the WIN number of your watch. We will inform you about the available options, implementation, and costs.

Whether these conditions are met depends on the respective product and order.

6.2 For questions regarding warranty cases or complaints, you can reach us at service@centenariodesign.de. Prior contact is not a prerequisite for exercising statutory rights.
6.3 The costs and risk of a return depend on the reason for the return and the statutory provisions. In case of a withdrawal, the information in the following withdrawal policy applies.
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts and contracts concluded outside business premises. The following information applies insofar as such a right of withdrawal exists.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us
CENTENARIO GmbH i. G.by means of a clear statement, for example, a letter sent by post or an email, about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the following sample withdrawal form, which is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs – except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us – without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged fees for this repayment.
We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. This does not apply if we have offered to collect the goods.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
The statutory right of withdrawal does not exist under the conditions of § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB, in particular for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer. Whether these conditions are met depends on the respective product and order.
For non-customized edition models, the statutory right of withdrawal generally applies to distance contracts with consumers. Any additional voluntary return rights granted are expressly described for the respective product or in the individual offer.
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you can fill out this form and return it to us. Use is voluntary.

8.3 Damage caused by improper handling, external influences, unauthorized modifications, interventions, or repairs is excluded according to the warranty conditions, provided these circumstances caused the defect claimed. An intervention or repair by third parties does not automatically lead to the exclusion of the warranty for defects independent of it.
8.4 The statutory defect liability rights remain independent of the guarantee. For their assertion, the original packaging and a specific form of purchase proof are not mandatory requirements.
9.1 We are liable for damages and other claims according to the statutory provisions.

We also provide our documents and information in translations. In case of discrepancies between a translation and the German version, the German version is decisive. Legal rights of customers remain unaffected.
The presentation of our models and configurations on the website and in the configurator is for informational purposes and does not constitute a binding sales offer. This also applies to the prices displayed there. Upon your request, we will create an individual offer that includes your chosen configuration, the total price, and the further contractual conditions.
A binding purchase contract is concluded according to the order process described in the offer. The configuration and price agreed upon in the contract are decisive.
Our AR files enable a virtual representation of your CENTENARIO in your environment. They serve as a guide and do not replace a binding product representation. Depending on the device, screen, lighting conditions, and environment, colors, materials, surfaces, and size ratios may particularly differ from the actual execution.
